Continuing Education Course: ORGANIZATION AND MANAGEMENT

I. INTRODUCTION TO THE SUBJECT

From the contemporary approach to organizational theory and the effect of context on modern leadership, comes the content of this course.

This text will develop the materials that constitute the business organization.

II. WORKLOAD

To obtain the corresponding title of this training course, the student / a must satisfy the 240 hours of autonomous work, through study and understanding of the materials provided by the VIU.

III. OBJECTIVES AND SKILLS TO ACQUIRE

General objectives:

Initiate the reader into the wide world of corporate management.

Specific objectives:

• Know the organization and its direction.
• To determine the influence of organizational context in the direction.
• Understand the processes that affect decision making. And its different forms.
• Manage human resources.

In. METHODOLOGY

Innovative methodology, flexible and accessible applied to the daily practice of self-learning model of the VIU students, following the principles of the European Higher Education (EHEA).

The flexible methodology used in training courses in Health Sciences provides continuing education compatible, much needed in the health sector with the job every day.

Independent work of student / a:
Throughout the course, the student / to work with materials and agenda provided by the VIU, assimilating the concepts and achieving the goals set, as well as, we proceed, resolution of practical cases arising.

Individual tutorials:
The tutorials are made through private messaging and remote tutoring.

WE. ASSESSMENT AND LEARNING

After the theoretical part of the course, students must pass a multiple choice examination for the material studied.

This examination is mandatory, having to answer correctly at least 80% of the questions raised.
